Royal Worcester Priveleged Customer Pledge

Royal Worcester tableware is renowned worldwide for both its elegant design and inherent strength and durability. Having proudly maintained our unrivalled reputation and commitment to providing the highest standards of quality and service for over 250 years, Royal Worcester is pleased to add our Pledge that your choice of Royal Worcester tableware can be enjoyed with confidence.

Royal Worcester’s Pledge offers you our:

  • GUARANTEE OF PATTERN AVAILABILITY
    At Royal Worcester we have so much confidence in the enduring appeal of our designs that we are able to offer our guarantee of pattern availability. Register your purchase as a Privileged Customer of Royal Worcester and should your chosen tableware pattern be discontinued within two years of your first purchase, Royal Worcester pledges to:
    ■ Give advance written notice to allow you to purchase additional items to complete or extend your service.
    ■ Offer an opportunity to replace your registered service with an alternative current service of your choice for the same value as your original purchase, within 6 months of written notification by Royal Worcester.
  • GUARANTEE OF BREAKAGE REPLACEMENT*
    Royal Worcester tableware is inherently strong and durable. However, because we wish you to use and enjoy it with complete peace of mind, Royal Worcester pledges to replace any registered item broken in normal domestic use within 12 months of purchase.
    In the event of accidental breakage of any registered item, please register your claim within the specified guarantee period in writing, sending details to:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. Offer applies only to UK customers aged 18 years or over who purchase best quality Royal Worcester tableware to the value of £250 or more on fine bone china or £150 on porcelain in up to three separate transactions within a six month period and who apply for registration as a Privileged Customer. Offer not open to employees of Royal Worcester and Spode Companies.
  2. Customers who have already registered items of tableware on the Privileged Customer Register may register additional purchases in the same pattern, provided these additional purchases are of best quality tableware to the value of £100 or more.
  3. All new and subsequent applications must be accompanied by a fully completed application form which must have been validated by a participating Royal Worcester stockist. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery. No responsibility will be accepted for applications or any correspondence to or from Royal Worcester or its agents that is lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Royal Worcester will confirm receipt of registration details in writing.
  4. The Privileged Customer Register is only available on selected Royal Worcester tableware. Details of the qualifying ranges listed in this leaflet were correct at the time of going to print. Royal Worcester reserves the right to change the list of qualifying patterns without notice.
  5. Benefits offered under the Privileged Customer Pledge apply only to those items purchased and detailed on the customer’s registration application. No cash alternatives will be offered.
  6. Where a replacement service is supplied by Royal Worcester under the Pattern Availability Guarantee, the original registered service is to be returned to Royal Worcester at our request. Royal Worcester cannot guarantee the replacement of individual items purchased in the original registered service.
  7. Where a claim is made for any replacement item(s) under the Guarantee of Breakage Replacement, customers are requested to retain the registered items for which the claim is being made and to provide any evidence requested by Royal Worcester in support of the claim. Replacements will be made whenever possible, but are subject to availability. Where this is not possible, the customer may choose an alternative current item of their choice for the same value as the original item purchased.
  8. Royal Worcester reserves the right to request further proof of identity or any other information to support any claim of any nature concerning the Royal Worcester Pledge, and to refuse any claim at it’s discretion. In all cases of dispute, Royal Worcester’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. All written correspondence relating to this Pledge will be sent to the address shown on the customer’s application form, unless written notice of a new address is sent to: Royal Worcester Privileged Customer Register, Severn Street, Worcester WR1 2NE.
