Christmas Table Ideas Using White Tableware
Christmas is well and truly on its way and we are feeling extremely festive! And all of this festivity calls for another Christmas table setting idea for our lovely readers.
This Christmas table has such an ethereal feel to it. We love creating something magical using white tableware – it acts as a fab blank canvas for your creativity! This Royal Worcester Serendipity white tableware is made from extremely durable fine bone china, which is perfect for dinner parties or Christmas celebrations when dinnerware is put through its paces.
As gold is bang on trend this season, we have created a golden, angelic setting that is easy for you to recreate this Christmas. And, here’s how:
You will need:
Christmas cups/glasses – Glasses of your choice
Tiny filled glass baubles – Sainsbury’s
Gold glitter Christmas tree – The Range
Small gold and white wreath – The Range
Ribbon and bell garland – The Range
White berry decorative sprigs – The Range
Ribbon of your choice
Glittery stems – learn how to make these super easy special touches here.
How to recreate this look:
1. To make the bauble napkins, take your napkin and tie a ribbon of your choice around the middle in a bow. Before completing the bow, thread the bauble onto the ribbon so that it hangs down. Tie the rest of the bow and voilà!
2. The glitter Christmas tree will form the basis of the centrepiece so start by placing this in the middle of the table. Place the wreath around the tree then lay the ribbon and bell garland along the centre of the table. Then use the white berry decorative sprigs to fill out your centrepiece. The rest of the filled glass baubles can be added in for some extra sparkle.
3. Place your Christmas glasses on the top right of each place setting and pop in your glittery stems, you can learn how to make these on our Blue Italian Christmas Table blog post.
4. Set out your cutlery and begin to layer up each place setting. Place down your side plates and then your dinner plates. Then layer up with bowls on each dinner plate and pop your napkins on each side plate. Watch our table setting video below for a guide onto how to lay each plate.
